Malta
Malta participated in the 1973 CSCE negotiations and signed the Helsinki Final Act in 1975. Additionally, it assumed the Chairpersonship of the Organization in 2024. Malta is represented by a Permanent Mission to the OSCE in Vienna.

Every year, the political leadership of the OSCE rotates among the Organization's participating States. The country taking over the OSCE Chair co-ordinates activities and provides political direction throughout that year.
