The United Nations in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UN in BiH), the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSCE Mission to BiH), and the EU Delegation/Office of the EU Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina (EU in BiH) welcome efforts by authorities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Zahid Movlazada, visited Mostar today to engage with local and international stakeholders and to underscore the Mission’s commitment to supporting constructive political dialogue, democratic governance, and security across the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.

The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina (Mission) welcomes the adoption of the Strategy for Integrated Border Management 2025–2029 and its accompanying Action Plan at yesterday’s BiH Council of Ministers session.

The programme aims to strengthen Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH) human and technical capacities in cybersecurity by empowering, connecting, and strengthening the expertise of women working in the field. It also supports the implementation of OSCE commitments on gender equality and the Women, Peace and Security agenda, including UN Security Council Resolution 1325, by promoting greater gender diversity across both the public and private sectors.

A presentation of the Code of Conduct on the Use of Social Media for Inspectors of the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH MoD) and the Armed Forces of BiH (AFBiH) marked the first step in promoting and implementing the new regulation. Adopted in March 2025, the Code is designed to promote accountability, professionalism, and ethical behaviour across digital platforms used by military personnel.
