Marking 2025 Earth Day with a focus on environmental governance

Every year, on 22 April, millions of people around the world unite to celebrate #EarthDay. This year’s theme #PlanetVsPlastics spotlights on one of the most urgent environmental challenges of our time: plastic pollution and its impact on ecosystems, health and climate. At OSCE Presence in Albania, we believe that environmental awareness starts with education and civic engagement. That’s why we empower citizens to become part of the solution, through knowledge, action and community. On this day, we invite you to explore a video documentary on environmental governance and security, prepared in the frame of our project to enhance environmental governance and security to Albania, supported by the governments of Norway, Italy and France.
